Destination Imagination: Heal the World
I still remember when there was a scare in my elementary school when it was discovered that one of the student’s relative had Ebola. Our Destination Imagination (DI) team, the SSS Imagineers, aimed to not only help prevent the spread of the virus, but also the spread of irrational fears the panic generated. We started a campaign to raise awareness of the virus. Through a creative theatrical skit, we were also able to deliver factual information to our community in a creative way, and our skit ultimately placed in the Global Finals!
